The problem
The existing admin portal had grown organically over years, resulting in inconsistent interfaces, confusing navigation, and poor usability across modules. With 20+ distinct functional areas, from scheduling and resource planning to reporting and compliance, the system needed a unified design language and modernised user experience without disrupting the underlying business logic.

The approach
We designed a complete new design system with a consistent component library (cards, tables, modals, badges, navigation patterns) and applied it across every module. The delivery included wireframes for all screens, a new information architecture, and a fully interactive Next.js frontend prototype that the client's team could use as a pixel-perfect reference for implementation.
The prototype used mock data to demonstrate all interactions, state management, and responsive behaviour, giving the internal team a production-ready frontend to integrate against their existing API layer.
